The Art Instruction School was founded in 1914 by the Bureau of Engraving with the intention to train illustrators for the bureau and for the printing industry in general. With the popularity of the School, courses like cartooning, color, perspective drawing and other art lessons were added. They have now emerged as the premier home study art school.
